Our beloved granddaughter, daughter, sister, and aunt, Sarah Adonna Jacobson Kerris, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, at the age of 40, surrounded by her loved ones. On June 19, 1985, Sarah was born in Ogden, Utah, to Glen Reed Jacobson and Becky Hadley Jacobson.
Sarah was raised in Brigham City, UT, but she later built her life in West Valley City, UT. There she was blessed with many friendships, who quickly became her second family.
Sarah cherished every laugh, conversation, and shared moment with them, holding those bonds very close to her heart.
Sarah poured her creativity and care into the things she loved — tending her garden, making jewelry, coloring, playing with her beloved dogs, and exploring new worlds in World of Warcraft.
Sarah also cherished family craft days and delighted in baking treats for her friends and nurses where she received dialysis. Those friends and nurses also held a very special place in Sarah’s heart.
Sarah’s strength was immeasurable. Though life brought her many challenges, she never lost her determination to live her life to the absolute fullest. Her courage and spirit touched all who knew her.
Sarah is survived by her significant other, Robert Garner; her mother, Becky Hadley Jacobson; her brother, Mike (Julia) Jacobson; her sister, Brittany Jacobson; two half-sisters, Aubrey (Ted) Booth and Sherry Montes (Alan Chapman); her nephew, best friend, and little buddy, Kayson Gonzales (Kelsie Lee); and her grandfather, Reed Jacobson.
She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will miss her.
Sarah was deeply loved by many and will be missed more than words can express.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm, August 24, at High Adventure Park at 251 18th St in Ogden, UT.
In lieu of flowers Sarah's family will be donating to Sarah's Kidney Transplant Team and Dialysis Center. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Family will be accepting donations at her celebration of life.
