Sidney Kevin “Kevin” Wolford, Kevin passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2025, at the young age of 67.
Kevin was born on October 31, 1957, in Ogden, Utah. He was the beloved eldest son of Sidney Clive Wolford and Judith Ann Jensen. He and his family resided in Ogden throughout his younger years. Throughout his life, Kevin was known for his talent, humor, and zest for living.
Following in his father's footsteps, Kevin became a skilled mechanic. He worked at various shops over the years, with his favorite job being a mechanic at Snow Basin Resort, where he eventually retired Kevin established long-lasting friendships and found joy in his work. Kevin’s hands-on skills and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues and friends.
A natural goofball and a lover of life, Kevin “AKA Uncle Bubba” was known for his humor and playful spirit. He was the kind of person who brought his nieces and nephews treats, and occasionally knuckle sandwiches, always brightening their days. His playful nature and infectious laugh made him a memorable presence in the lives of all who knew him.
An adventurous soul and thrill seeker, Kevin lived life to the fullest, moving to Hawaii shortly after high school, and then California in his thirties. He loved the ocean, enjoyed skiing, surfing, spearfishing, hang gliding, always seeking new adventures and good times.
He is survived by his siblings: Cindy Wolford, Kerry Wolford, Lindy Wolford, Sheri (Bill) Lloyd, and Jeff (Shannon) Wolford. Kevin was preceded in death by both of his parents and his nephew, Nick Shafer.
Kevin’s spirit of fun, adventure, and love will be deeply missed.
To honor Kevin's memory in a more intimate setting, services will be held privately with only close family. The family extends gratitude to all who supported and loved Kevin throughout his life.
Kevin, your laughter and adventurous spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace.
