Stacy Kay Walters

Stacy Kay Walters passed away on October 30, 2025, surrounded by love at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. Born and raised in Utah, Stacy spent most of her childhood in Clearfield, where she grew up with a strong sense of family, compassion, and kindness that would become the heart of who she was throughout her life.

At the young ages of 16 and 18, Stacy and the love of her life, Jeffery Boyd Walters, began their lifelong journey together. They were married on March 29, 1985, and built a beautiful family filled with devotion, laughter, and unconditional love. Together, they welcomed two children, Bryan, and Brittany, who were her entire world. Being a mother was her greatest joy, and she poured her whole heart into raising her children.

Stacy was a stay-at-home mom during her kids’ early years, creating cherished memories that will live on forever. She loved spending time outdoors with Bryan, playing catch, blowing bubbles, and turning everyday moments into adventures. Mornings before school were filled with cartoons and cereal—simple moments that became treasured memories. She walked her children to school each day—Brittany snug in her stroller—and turned even the walk into learning time, helping Bryan practice spelling by reading license plates along the way. These small routines became lasting moments that Bryan will forever hold close to his heart.

As Brittany grew, Stacy continued to stay actively involved in her school years as well. She served as PTSA President, volunteered for field trips and school programs, and even worked as a lunch lady just so she could see her children during the day. Her dedication to being present in their lives was one of her greatest gifts as a mother.

As her children got older, Stacy extended her compassion beyond her home. She worked as a caregiver for individuals with disabilities, offering patience, comfort, and support to those who needed it most. She had a genuine gift for caring for others, and she shared that kindness freely with everyone whose life she touched.

Becoming a grandmother was a new chapter of joy for Stacy. She adored her grandchildren, Chance, Jaxel, and Juniper, with that same full-hearted love she gave her own children. Each one held a special place in her heart, and her love for them was endless.

Stacy is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jeffery, her children, Bryan and daughter-in-law Kaitlynne, and Brittany and son-in-law Jadrien David, her grandchildren, Chance, Jaxel, and Juniper, her father, Gordon Leavitt, her sister, Kelly, and her brother, Jeff (not to be confused with her husband Jeffery). She is preceded in passing by her mother, Sherry Opal Leavitt, along with other beloved family members who welcomed her into eternal rest.

Stacy will be remembered for her warm heart, her quiet strength, her devotion as a mother and grandmother, and the countless little moments of love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in her children and grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward with the same love she instilled in them.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Brigham City Cemetery, 300 South 300 East, Brigham City Utah.
