Teola Mea Worthen, 61, of Layton, Utah passed away on April 30, 2023 peacefully in her sleep.
Teola was born on December 8, 1961 in Salt Lake City to Birth Parents, Buddy and Christine Wyaskett. She was later Adopted by her Dear Parents, Les and Carol Cronk . She moved to Yukon, Oklahoma where she graduated Yukon High School .
After graduating Teola Married Kevin R .Alspaugh; while married they had 3 Children: Winona, Naomi and her only son Stuart. They later divorced but remained friends . She then married Shane Worthen, later separated, and she had her last daughter Cameron aka her Favorite. Teola met the love of her life Scott 4 Years ago who absolutely adored her and he would give his everlasting breath for her .
Teola enjoyed being a homemaker and mother for many years to her children. When they were old enough and in school she dedicated herself to working hard and loved her job at Smith's Warehouse in Layton for 15+ years. She took early retirement and moved on to her job at Dillard's where she met some very amazing coworkers.
Teola retired in 2021 and spent her time with her Partner Scott and her very-loved dog Buck.
She also dedicated her life to her Grandchildren whom she loved and adored.
Teola is preceded in death by her Beloved Mom Carol Cronk who she loved and would have many hours of conversations with, and her Birth parents Buddy and Christine Wyaskett. She is survived by her children: Winona of Salt Lake City, Utah; (Robert) Naomi Osuna of Ogden, Utah; Stuart Alspaugh (Kallie) of Ogden, Utah and Cameron (Phillip Trujillo) of Layton, Utah; Her Dad (Les Cronk) of Yukon, OK; brothers and sisters: Kenny (Pam) of Oklahoma City, OK; Becky (Clay ) of Hinton,,OK; Scott of Yukon, OK; Lisa (Jason) of Wyoming and Deanna (Justin ) of El Reno, OK. She is also survived by her biological siblings: Lynn Knight , Cindy Ramos, Victoria Wyaskett, and Les Wyaskett; as well as her many grandchildren: Robert, Traigh, Erika, Destiny, Meabella , Grayson, Chayton, Dakota, Jace, Anara, Ammon, Christopher Noelia and Isabel.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the many Doctors and Nurses that attended to her needs during lengthy stay at Mckay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. We would also like to thank Rocky Mountain Home Health and Hospice nurses for caring for her on her last days you are very much appreciated.
Viewing services will be held at Aarons Mortuary, 1050 South State St in Clearfield, Utah on Friday May 19 , 2023 from 5-7 pm. Teola's Graveside Services with be held at on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10 am at the Syracuse Cemetery, 1250 South 1000 West ,Syracuse, Utah 84075. Flowers can be sent to Aarons.
