Mark Leavitt, age 56, passed away November 17, 2025, in Clearfield, Utah, when his heart ultimately gave out after a life of battling complex health challenges. Born June 15, 1969, in Logan, Utah, to Terry and Linda Leavitt, Mark lived a life of quiet dedication, strong character, and a deep devotion to his family. Mark was a very giving man, consistently putting the needs of others before his own and demonstrating generosity through his actions and kind spirit.

Mark held a variety of roles throughout his career that showcased his adaptability and diligence. He began as a reliable carpet installer and later transitioned to a stocking associate management role. Most recently, he found satisfaction and purpose working as a dedicated pharmacy technician.

Above all, Mark was a devoted family man. His presence was a constant source of strength, warmth, and support to those closest to him. He was cherished as a husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He lovingly took on the role of father to his stepdaughter, Chelsey, with love and commitment. He and his wife, Shelly, also opened their hearts and home to adopt two children, embracing the role of parents with joy and dedication.

Mark found joy in his hobbies, particularly as a passionate gun enthusiast. This interest reflected his appreciation for precision and skill—qualities that also defined how he approached the important aspects of his life and relationships. His quiet strength and warm smile will be profoundly missed.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly (Gilbert), who selflessly gave him the gift of a life-saving kidney; his daughters, Chelsey Dorber (Tom) and Dallas; his son, Brantley; and two grandchildren: Tommy and Scotlynn. He also leaves behind his mother, Linda; his sisters, Mindy Whiteley (Wendell), Kerry Harris (Dean), and Kori Nelson (Braydy); and brothers, Wade (Amy) and Aaron (Tanya); along with many extended relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Leavitt.
