Listen to Obituary

Theresa Helen Allen was born on August 23, 1951, to Eloy Baca and Feliz Martinez in Albuquerque, NM. Her spirit was warm and courageous and was always there for her family and friends. She was a wonderful lady that was loved by everyone.

Theresa accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized in September of 1951 at the San Jose Church in Albuquerque, NM. She believed a life was a gift to this world and deeply loved and cared for each of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Theresa always made sure there was food on the table and a seat was available. She enjoyed preparing her green chile stew, taco meat that would simmer for hours and spaghetti sauce that you could smell down the road. She also enjoyed going to thrift stores, charity food booths, fundraisers, and the farmers market. When she wasn’t cooking, she loved street tacos and enjoyed going out to lunch and dinner with family and friends.

Theresa departed this life on July 15, 2025, at her residence in Ogden, UT. She was preceded in death by her mother, Feliz Martinez; father, Eloy Baca; son, Chris Lopez; and grandchildren: Josephine, Isaiah, Little Fernando, Esperanza, and Joe.
