Velma Pulsipher Pope

Velma Pope passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the home of her niece, Francene Jacobs of Hooper, Utah. She was the third daughter, born to Joseph Marten and Lillie Olsen Pulsipher on September 26, 1934 in Brigham City, Utah.

She married Orville Pope on January 15, 1954 in Ogden, Utah.

She grew up in the Ogden area, also lived in California for thirty-eight years and also resided for fifteen years in New Mexico. She and Orville moved to Roy, Utah in May of 2008.

Velma is survived by her husband and daughters; Barbara Rosenne Lane, Harriet Elizabeth Pope, Catherine Ladene Delmos, Dorothy Louise Radica and son George Andrew Pope, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, also survived by three sisters; Carolyn (Lloyd) Walton, Joan Hutchison, Edith (Jack) Bunn and brother Joseph (Barbara) Pulsipher.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing 1 hr. prior to the service at Aaron's Mortuary 1600 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT.

Interment will be Ogden City Cemetery.
