Victor Eugene Fialkowski

Victor (Ski) Eugene Fialkowski, age 71, of Syracuse, UT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Ski was born on July 22, 1950 in Chicago, IL. Ski attended Kennedy High School in Chicago, IL, joined the United States Air Force and retired after 21 years of service. 

Ski leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife, Kathy Fialkowski, three children: Monica (Art) Franco, Matthew (Kara) Fialkowski and Pepper Duckworth, two brothers William (Bill) (Celeste) Fialkowski, Mark (Dory) Fialkowski and sister Barbara Fialkowski-Suarez (Artie Faedtke), nine grandchildren, Humberto Medina, Alejandra Franco, Alyiah Franco, DeVerae Duckworth, Brooklyn Franco, Jaidyn Franco, Nineveh Franco, Malayah Fialkowski, Ezra Fialkowski, and his two fur grandbabies Yuki and Diesel. Ski is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Alice Fialkowski and infant daughter Michelle Fialkowski and infant son Jason Fialkowski. 

Ski loved the outdoors, fishing, coaching football & basketball, all things sports related and could tell you random facts about anything. He was most commonly seen wearing camouflage attire, crocs and Chicago Bears, Cubs or Blackhawks tops. Ski was known for his talkative nature and his amazing 4th of July fireworks displays. His grandkids were the center of his world. He loved spending time with them even if it was watching the Chicago Cubs get beat.

 Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 11 am with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 1050 South State St., Clearfield, Utah.  A viewing will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. with Vigil services at 7 p.m. at the same location.   A private graveside service for family will take place at Syracuse City Cemetery at a later date.
