Wesley Daniel Baird Scott, 63, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025.
He was born on October 13, 1961, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Frank and Donna Baird.
Wesley dedicated his working life to doing what he loved — fixing things with his hands and solving problems with determination as he wouldn’t quit until the job was done right!
He spent many years working alongside his father Boyd at Scotty’s Service Center, a place that was as much about friendship and family as it was about repairs. Later, he continued his career at A&M Outdoor, where his skill, reliability, and good humor made him an invaluable part of the team.
Outside of work, Wesley found joy in the great outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting with family and friends, treasuring the time spent by a quiet riverbank, trolling Lost Creek and Bear Lake or in the crisp morning air of hunting season. These trips were never just about the catch — they were about connection, laughter, and moments that became lifelong memories.
He is survived by his partner, Linnae; his sons, Evan and Kelton; and his granddaughter, Lilyonna. He is also survived by his mother, Donna, and his brothers, Robert Scott, Jacob Scott, Joseph Scott, and Frank Baird.
Wesley will be remembered for his steady presence, his stubbornness, kindness, and the way he could find joy in life’s simplest moments. His legacy lives on in the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the countless stories shared by those who knew him best.
