Adam Gibby

August 13, 1982 — September 3, 2021

On September 3, 2021, heaven gained an angel. Adam Gibby, 39, was born on August 13, 1982, to William and Teri Gibby. He had one brother, Zachary Gibby (Amanda Gibby). He graduated from Northridge High School in 2000. He received his certificate in diesel mechanics and loved working on anything with an engine.

Shortly after graduating, he decided to move out on his own to Salt Lake City where he met his best friend, Sarah. They were married on October 20, 2001. Adam and Sarah went on to have four beautiful children. Journey Paige, Addison Belle, Myles J, and Londyn Grace.

In 2009, he started his career at Hill Air Force base working on A-10s. He continued his career working on C-130s and then made the move to a desk job as a scheduler, which he was great at. He had the most amazing boss/friend, JR Hernandez, who mentored him every step of the way.

Adam loved his family more than anything in the world. He enjoyed taking Journey and Addie to softball and was an amazing softball coach. He was proud of Myles and when he decided to get in the ring and start boxing. He loved watching Londyn do gymnastics all around the house. His favorite pastime was golf, Jake was his favorite golfing buddy, and they would spend hours on the golf course. They were brothers-in-law, who turned into the best of friends. He loved all his nephews, Jayden, Bryten, Ethan, Spencer, and Finn and his niece Hannah. He was so excited to be getting a new niece or nephew in February 2022.

Adam touched so many lives. He was never afraid to share his faith in God and through his testimony made many lifelong friends. If he found a business that treated him well, they would have referrals for life (right Isaiah)?

Adam was preceded in death by his mother Teri Gibby, grandparents Dione and Ted Thornock, Juanita Dalton, Arthur Gibby, and his cousin Mary Jo Myers.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 12 at 3pm at The Genesis Project, 3525 Riverdale Road, Ogden, Utah.
