Brooke Harman Pistorius

1987-2019

A loving wife, mother, daughter, aunt, sister and friend passed away May 1, 2019. Brooke was born September 18, 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James Lloyd Harman and Julie Lynn Ashby. Brooke enjoyed boating, outdoors, singing, acting, drawing, and spending as much time as possible with her family. She had an extraordinary talent for cross stitching. She created the most beautiful things from tiger’s to elephant’s and worked hard every day to perfect them.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and strived every day to be more Christ-like. She was a warrior! She was a rock star! She fought hard until the end when the Lord called her home. She had a heart of gold and her light shined so bright that it drew people in all around her. She loved everyone she came in contact with and after visiting with her for only a second, you always left with a friend and confidant. She loved and was loved by so many.

She graduated from Bingham High School in 2006 and a few years later she met her best friend and love of her life, Curtis Pistorius. Then on December 20th, 2008 they married in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. They had two wonderful children who were the light of her life and her biggest blessing. She loved her children with all her heart and fought to be stronger everyday so she could spend it with them. Lucy and Jimmy, mama loves you for-inity and loves you to tickle buns land.

Brooke is survived by her husband, Curtis: her two beautiful children Lucy (7) and Jimmy (6), her parents, James and Julie Harman, her sister Tawni (Michael) and two brothers, Jourdan (Christina (baby Baylee) and Cody (Johnny). She had so many other family members who love her and will miss her dearly! She was preceded in death by her mother in law, Jeanette Pistorius and many grandparents and close relatives.
