Cheryl Holmin

June 19, 1959 — August 25, 2021

The early morning of August 25th, 2021 our mother and

grandmother peacefully passed away in her sleep. She was

born on June 19th, 1959 on a military base in Virginia to Ervin

Holmin and Doris Finnegan. She grew up in a military family

with her three siblings. Tucson, Arizona was where she would

have loved to live her life, but she moved; remaining the rest

of her life as a resident in Northern Utah. She graduated from

high school in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1977. She married

Douglas Anderson in Ogden, Utah (where they later

divorced); there they raised their family.

Mom loved her rock-n-roll blaring and long drives through the

mountains. She was a spit fire soul, a determined woman and

a protecting mother. She was proud of her Irish heritage and

was a huge supporter of our U.S. military. She was happiest

and most complete when she was just laughing with her

seven grandchildren and cuddling with her pets.

Mom was having declining health the last few years. She was

battling diabetes and kidney failure. She fought through all

the infections, surgeries, viruses and kept her head up the

entire time and looked forward to the future.

She deeply cared for her family and will be greatly missed by

those that knew her.

Cheryl is survived by her daughters Jessie Anderson and

Mandy Anderson. Her grandchildren Alexander, Kaylene,

Jaylynn, Zoey, Nolan, Steven Jr. and Emmett. Also; her

siblings.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Michelle

and best friend Linda Larsson.

Her daughters will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
