Graydon Charlesworth

February 13, 1973 — April 14, 2021

Robert Graydon Charlesworth left this earth on April 14, 2021. He was born on February 13, 1973 in Ogden, Utah as a son of Robert Clark Charlesworth and Janet Thomas Rose. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1991 and attended Weber State.

Graydon was a man of many talents. He carried on the Charlesworth legacy as a talented painter his entire working life. He was an absolutely amazing artist in all mediums. Beginning as a young child, Graydon developed a fondness for the great outdoors. He loved to camp, fish, golf, and play Texas Hold’em. He was still skateboarding at 48. He was a devout Oakland Raiders fan and loved the Runnin Utes. Graydon also loved all genres of music, especially Punk Rock. In high school he was notorious for his eccentricities and his purple mohawk. In recent years, his trademark had been his flat ivy caps. Graydon was also known for his great smile and his kind and gentle nature. He married Adrianna Jensen in 1997, they later divorced. In 2012, Graydon married Teri Gardner, they divorced in 2018.

Graydon was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Thomas Cheney in 2007, and his soul-mate Teri Olsen in 2020. He is survived by his father, Robert Clark Charlesworth, and his step-father Glen Cheney. He had 1 sister, Stacy Rose, 3 brothers Shawn Rose, Chad Charlesworth, and Clay Charlesworth. Graydon will be greatly missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He held a very special place in his heart for his niece Britney Livingston, who he lovingly called  B-Shae.  

Graydon was loved by many close friends and will forever live in their hearts. He was an extraordinary human being.

There will be a graveside memorial held at the Lindquist’s Washington Heights Cemetery May 15 at 12:00 noon. Directly following that will be a celebration of Graydon’s life at the Salty Creative, 443 27th Street, at approximately 2:00pm.
