Kevin M Olney

Kevin M Olney, 64, passed away June 5, 2019 from liver cancer. He was born September 3, 1954 to Lynn and Naomi Olney. He married Kenna Cook on June 2 1973, they later divorced. He married Lisa Woodbury on May 5, 1979. This union produced 3 children, Jason, Keli and Matthew. They later divorced

            He worked in the steel manufacturing industry for 36 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, going to Wendover, playing the lottery, watching westerns, listening to oldies music, caring for his mom and spending time with his family. He was always available and willing to help others in their time of need.

            He is survived by his mother; 3 children; 5 grandchildren: Weston, Landon  Alex, Cameron, and Austin and stepson, Nickolas; 6 siblings: Nayln (Jo Ann) Olney of Providence, Ut; Delmar (Delana) Olney of Farr West, UT; Vance (Peggy) Olney of Clinton, UT, Randall (DeAnna) Olney of Farr West, UT, Brian (Melanie) Olney of Roy, UT and Charlene (Russell) Fischer of Harrisville, UT, along with many nieces, nephews, great friends, Randy Kunz, Dennis Brewer, Dave Kraus and their families.

 He is preceded in death by his father Lynn Olney, step-dad William (Bill) Eilers, and his pet bird Tori, along with many aunts and uncles.

We also want to thank the staff of McKay Dee Hospital for their generous and compassionate care of our dad.

 A celebration of life event will be held on June 11, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at  the Slaterville Community Center, 1570 W 400 N St, Marriot-Slaterville, UT 84404..
