Warren C. Paige

May 7, 1975 – January 23, 2020

Our loving husband, son, father, brother, and friend Warren C. Paige, age 44, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of January 23, 2020.

Warren was born May 7, 1975 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Brian Paige and Katherine Worden Paige. In his youth, Warren enjoyed many days boogie boarding with his family on the warm beaches of Hawaii. He also raised birds with his dad. His love of birds continued into adulthood as he memorized the names of several different types of birds. He would even watch documentaries learning of the various behaviors of each kind of bird.

In 1996, Warren was called to the California Anaheim Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had fond memories of riding a bike with his various companions to minister his faith and serve others. He continued to speak fondly of this experience and the people he had met throughout his life.

On January 8, 2005 Warren married his sweetheart Amanda C. Paige in Bountiful, Utah. Within three years Warren and Amanda became parents to two young boys, Nathan and Jason. As a husband and father Warren enjoyed times he went camping and on family trips. He was especially pleased with a boating trip to see the dolphins and whales on the coast of California. He planned the trip as something special he wanted to experience when in California to take the family to Disneyland. As his health declined, he often passed his time trying to defeat his sons in their favorite video games.

Warren was a loyal friend and dedicated worker. He was employed with the Salt Lake County Sherriff’s Office as a Finance Clerk for over 17 years. He learned his work ethic from his fatherand strongly believed in the integrity of providing for his family, even after enduring many hospital stays and feeling discomfort from his disease (Cystic Fibrosis). He always seemed to bounce back with a positive attitude.

In addition to his mission, Warren also accepted and served in many callings for his church. Fellow members recall Warren’s simple acts of kindness that always came from his heart, rather than a sense of obligation. He truly lived by the words “how can I see another’s lack and I not share?” He was a humble servant.

Warren was preceded in death by his caring and watchful mother, Katherine Worden Paige. In addition to his wife, Amanda, he is survived by his father Brian, sons Nathan and Jason, and  brother Jason (Jen).

As per Warren’s wishes, a graveside service will be held at Hooper cemetery at 5301 s. 6300 w., Hooper, UT. The service will be held on Friday, January 31, at 11 am.
