Wesley Stufflebeam

Our hearts are heavy with the passing of our father,brother,grandpa and great-grandpa Wesley(Wes)

.Wesley was born to Harrison and Ravenna Stufflebeam on April 29th 1958 in Ventura,California.The 3rd child of 9 children.Wes graduated from Buena High School in 1976 and joined the Navy in 1977.

Wesley married Jolene Cragun in 1982. Together they had 2 children,twins.A son,Shane and daughter Nicole.They divorced after 16 years of marriage.

In his lifetime Wes worked in various fields.Wes was a boiler mechanic,briefly had a cleaning business,worked in a casino then on a testing range for Hill Air Force Base. Later in life he had Little Devil Donuts Concession stand business.

Wesley’s hobbies were many.Wes had a love for computers,he enjoyed diagnosing/dissecting/fixing and putting together computers.Wes was very ingenuitive, he could fix anything.Definitely a jack of all trades.

Wes’s other passion was food.Wes was an outstanding cook and had a flair for baking.Wes made the most delicious breads from scratch,breads of all varieties.Family and friends enjoyed eating it all.We’ll miss your giant Thanksgiving rolls dad.Wes also enjoyed BBQing,camping,fishing,painting,listening good music and meaningful  conversation.Wes was very much an introvert.Shy and quiet until engaged in  topics of interest,he would talk for hours.

Wesley was a giving and kind soul.Even when he didn’t have much himself,he always helped and gave to others.Wes was quiet and gentle.Like a big,lovable teddy bear that gave the best hugs.Wes was the most loyal of friends,a loving father and grandfather.

Wes is survived by his 3 children: James Wall, Shane(Heidy)Stufflebeam, Nicole(Christopher) O’Shea. 6 grandchildren: Layla O’Shea,Collin O’Shea,Lucy Wilkinson,Patrick Wilkinson,Sophia Stufflebeam,Alexis-Raven Wall and 2 great-grandchildren.Siblings,Roxanne Cox,Mark Stufflebeam,Nathan Stufflebeam,Carol Lemay,Christopher Stufflebeam,Tim Stufflebeam,Jennifer Wright,David Stufflebeam and many nephews and neices.

Dad, you left us unexpectedly with much heartache.We will all love and miss you forever.

Wesley’s wishes were to be cremated and have an intimate gathering of close family and friends. No funeral  services will be held. Wesley’s children will have a  Celebration of Life gathering/event at a later date. They will notify by invite or those who wish to attend may contact Shane or Heidy Stufflebeam via Facebook for date and further details.
