Kevin George Richan, 65, of Brigham City, Utah passed away at the Huntsman Cancer Center April 19, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 12, 1961, in Brigham City, Utah to George William and Merle Claree Poulsen Richan. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of

Later-day Saints. He attended Central Elementary, Box Elder Jr. High, and Box Elder High School. Kevin took a course in small engine repair, and went to school to leam Diesel Mechanics which became his career. He worked for H&R Trucking in Salt Lake City and Swift Transport in Corinne. He retired from Universal Logistics in Clearfield, Utah in March 2025.

He married Teresa Hadley and had three children, Jessica, Travis, and Brandon. They later divorced. He married Michelle Norton and had three children, Kaylee, Lezley, and Taylor. They were later divorced. After a long engagement, he married the love of his life, Stephanie Orner Richan on March 12, 2026. He also has a step-son, Tatlund. Kevin was a devoted husband and devoted father to his children, and a kind, loving grandfather.

Kevin loved to barbeque on the grill and have cook outs. He loved music and watching his big collection of movies. He also liked to watch the news. He played pool and joined many pool leagues. In his younger days he liked to fish. Kevin was a Jack of all trades and could fix anything from small engines, plumbing, electrical wiring, and repairing vehicles. He spent many hours helping his friends and family by working on their cars in his driveway.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, six children, Jessica (Chuck) Bingham, Kaylee Neal, Lezley (Al Anderson) Richan, Taylor Richan, his step-son Tatlund Richan, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters; Julie (Michael) Ross and Joyce Bott, his mother, Merle.

He was preceded in death by his two sons; Travis and Brandon, his father, George, brother, Todd Jay Richan, his grandparents, a nephew and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Aaron’s Mortuary, 888 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah. A time to visit with family will be from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a sharing of memories service at 2:00 p.m.
